Riccardo Rigo

Riccardo Rigo was born in Verona in 1990. After obtaining his PhD in Molecular Sciences - Pharmaceutical Sciences curriculum from the University of Padova (2019), he pursued postdoctoral research at the Centre de Recherche en Cancérologie de Marseille (France) and the Central European Institute of Technology - CEITEC (Czech Republic), where he was awarded an MSCA-Individual Fellowship. Following these experiences, he returned to Italy and is currently a researcher (RTD-A) at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences at the University of Padova. His primary research focuses on exploring nucleic acids and nucleic acid-interacting proteins as potential pharmaceutical targets. He is currently engaged in developing new pharmaceutical strategies to target the West Nile virus genome as part of the INF-ACT program.
